Te Ahurei Toi o Tāmaki / Auckland Arts Festival (AAF) features new, commissioned and existing works as curated by current AAF Artistic Director Shona McCullagh and our wider programming team.

The Festival serves our powerful artists and curious audiences, aiming to reflect the identity of Tāmaki Makaurau and increase our understanding and empathy – for each other and ourselves.

Planning for AAF’s annual programme is an ongoing process and we’re often working on multiple years at the same time. Participation in the Festival programme is by invitation only, and we are always on the lookout for new projects that push the boundaries of possibility.
